A glimpse into VR’s sensory future: HP Reverb G2 Omnicept

Hello! Today I am taking a look at the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition. This headset has full Tobii eye tracking, face tracking, and a heartrate monitor and the amazing things developers are doing with it really show the near future of VR. I think one of the biggest changes we will be seeing is a complete shift in immersive software, software and games written for hardware that read us and adapt to the our reactions.

Just imagine a horror game.. that knows exactly what to scare you with or knows exactly where you're looking/ where you're not looking. I believe this is the turning point for VR, we are looking at the very near future of VR with this one headset that was the first to do it.

Doesn't mean you should buy one though, not exactly consumer friendly. Just wait for it to be main stream. This video is meant to server as a sneak peek into what the near future holds.
